Alexia "Lexi" Latka is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Board Certified Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at University Family Medicine. She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado graduating from Centennial High School in 2003 and pursued the beauty industry as a licensed hairstylist in 2006. Lexi attended Pueblo Community College and graduated in 2013 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Assisting.
Lexi then attended Colorado State University-Pueblo School of Nursing and graduated in 2019 where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She has worked at Parkview Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry PCU and ICU. Lexi continues to teach at her alma mater Colorado State University-Pueblo School of Nursing as a clinical instructor. In 2022, Lexi returned to Colorado State University-Pueblo School of Nursing to pursue her Master's in Nursing emphasizing in Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Lexi is intrigued and passionate about health and wellness prioritizing preventative care and mental well being. She truly loves helping others and caring for patients of all ages. Lexi loves spending time with her husband, two children, and mini schnauzer clan. She also enjoys working out, fitness classes, reading, and quality time with family and friends!
